Kylie Sais is a Métis woman whose family comes
from Pequis First Nation and a town called Roostertown. Growing up she didn’t
know a lot of her culture but that all started to change when she started
working for WASAC when she was 15. Jigging and square dancing is one of her
passions and has really connected her to working with Indigenous children and
youth throughout Manitoba. While working with youth she hopes that Indigenous
youth are able to have a space where they can be themselves and not afraid to
show and embrace their culture.
