ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE ON-LINE TRANSPORTATION APPLICATION IF THEY NEED A BUS.

Please review the Policies and Procedures BEFORE completing the Transportation Application Form to determine eligibility.

Stopfinder App for Your Student's Busing Information

Seven Oaks School Division Transportation will be launching a new App called “Stopfinder".

We believe this App will be easier and more convenient to navigate with to be able to see your student's busing information. It also allows us to communicate easier with you when a bus is cancelled, late or changes have been made to your students busing.

We would appreciate if you will take the time to download it. The email will come to your inbox labelled as “Seven Oaks School Division welcomes you to Stopfinder".

My child is a new student to Seven Oaks School Division, how do I apply for bussing?	When you complete the online New Student Registration form please select Yes to the question "Will the student require bussing to the school?"
My child is currently bussed but we have a change OR we are not currently bussed but now need it, what do I do?	Please visit the website and complete the form.

Next School Year's Bussing

My child is currently bussed and needs bussing again next school year, what do I do?	Please visit Parent Connect and select Profile > Basic Demographics and select “Yes, bussing, same as last year".
My child is currently bussed but does not need bussing next school year, what do I do?	Please visit Parent Connect and select Profile > Basic Demographics and select “No longer require bussing".
My child is currently bussed but we have a change to bussing for next year, how do I let Transportation know?	Please visit Parent Connect and select Profile > Basic Demographics and select “Yes, bussing, changes required". There will be a button which will direct you to a form to complete on the website with your changes.
My child is a returning bussing student who is switching schools and needs bussing (eg. Grade 5 to Grade 6 or Grade 8 to Grade 9)?	Please visit Parent Connect and select Profile > Basic Demographics and select “Yes, bussing, changes required". If combined temperature and wind chill is -45 C or colder at The Forks at 6:00 a.m. buses will not run for the entire day.
Items Allowed on the Bus
Please consult the list of items to determine if the item you are considering bringing on the bus is allowed. Please Note: This list is constantly being updated.

Receipts for Bus Fees
In order to use ‘transportation’ as an income tax deduction, the transportation service must be of a ‘public’ nature. Since school buses are NOT used as a means of public transportation, Revenue Canada will not accept the transportation fees as a deduction and the Seven Oaks School Division will NOT issue receipts for these fees.

Changes to Your Application
Could take up to 10 business days before they are processed.

Changes to Your Banking Information
For the monthly Preauthorized Debit must be received at least 10 days prior to the beginning of the next month. Only those changes go directly to Transportation.
