Sustainability Challenge
...a Unite To Change Initiative
7 Oaks classrooms and schools are welcome to submit projects and initiatives related to the four pillars of sustainable living education. All ages, grade levels and nations welcome!
- Environment/greening…eg. Gardening initiatives/waste reduction programs/energy saving projects/nature-outdoor education
- Cultural Awareness…eg. Aboriginal education initiatives, Asian Heritage projects, celebrating diversity initiatives
- Social Justice…eg. LGBTQ initiatives , Spare Change for Brains campaign, equity projects such as the Wayfinders High School Support Program
- Health and Well-being…nutrition/active living/dance initiatives
Submissions welcome September-December, 2014
Please submit to the attention of
Jodi.kryschuk in an online format for viewing by our 7 Oaks community.
Submission ideas include videos, power point presentations, website/blog link, a written and/or pictorial description of class or school wide project or brochure.
